The Mostly Original Tutorial

The following is the tutorial that comes with the component. I've only made some minor changes.

Click the link above to download Picasa

Exporting Album to XML

1. Export album from Picasa to your desktop using Folder Export as HTML Page
2. Select Size from "Export pictures at this size:"
3. Enter title in "Enter the title you want to appear at the top of the Web page" this will be the album name in Joomla
4. Under "Select a folder in which to save the Web page and pictures" click on Browse, select "Desktop".
5. Hit "Next"
6. From "Template Name" select XML Code
7. Hit "Finish"
8. Close IE/FIREFOX window if it opens.
9. Go to your desktop
10. Find the folder with same name as the title of the album that you exported
11. Right click on the folder, select Send To Compressed (zipped) Folder
12. Press "Yes" to the long message

Ok, your album is ready.

Upload Album to Joomla

1. Log into your Joomla backend
2. Go Components UGM
3. Click Browse
4. Select the compressed zip file you created earlier
5. Hit Upload

Done

Now you will see a new Album added to the list of available albums.
